Salman Khan jump started his career in the hit movie, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya.’ But after his first initial box office success, a second hit film did not come so easily. Khan starred in films such as, Pathar Ke Phool, Jagruti, and Dil Tera Ashique, which all turned out to be flops.
The film ‘Saajan’came along next and proved that Khan was able to take on more serious roles and be successful. There was an alleged clandestine relationship between Katrina Kaif and John Abraham while they were shooting their film together, New York. Though both Kat and John vehemently denying any such thing having happened, it cant be denied that Katrina’s rapport with boyfriend Salman Khan has not exactly been great since then. Adding to her woes now is an offer from Dev D maker Anurag Kashyap to star in his next opposite John Abraham, and John is the only one who has been officially signed up so far.
Anurag apparently has also sent the script across to Katrina who seems to have loved it. Sources close to her claim, it’s just the kind of film Kats would like to do at this point in time when she has just begun to make her mark as an actress. Katrina Kaif, one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, debuted with a bang through "Boom", a movie about models getting caught up with the underworld. Though the movie bombed, people couldn't easily forget her angelic face and voluptuous figure. Not many have gained the fans and popularity as a new entrant as Katrina has done.
Katrina is half Indian and half British. Her father is an NRI and her mother is English, which makes her poor at Hindi. Initially critics were very harsh on her for her poor Hindi. But she has worked hard on it and started taking dancing lessons - both very essential to survive in the industry. Now she has started dubbing on her own. She has done few movies down south and is a popular face there already.
